Blood Stain Child - Epsilon

Not the kind of thing I'd usually listen to but they manage to balance the metal and electronic elements better than most. Recommended for anyone who likes Voyager but not so much into the pop or prog extremes.

That was heavier than I expected from your description, which is not usually what I'm looking for in catchy-poppy metal, but that was pretty good.

Disappointments:
My Dying Bride - Evinta

Finally got around to listening to this... I really like it but I never really liked MDB that much so I was never likely to be disappointed by it anyway. If this was released as a film soundtrack credited to them instead of as one of their 'albums' I imagine the reception would be a lot more welcoming.

I can listen to one or two songs at a time and enjoy it, but as a complete album it's just boring as batshit. I'm glad I didn't get the 3-CD version.
