maybe symphony x should hire... oh... say... john petrucci.
you totally missed the point.ONLY for Live shows, and some parts.A side man,not a fulltime member.Romeo plays some short but great riffs in certain songs and without rhytam guitar it sounds empty. It's not necesery, but it would sound better.P.S. In the beggining of "Egypt"LePond plays only straight D note, no fills

On the album, you're right. Live, he plays fills at the end of each fourth measure. They mimic Romeo's lead a little bit.
I just can't think of enough situations where a second guitarist would come in handy live.
That could possibly be the worst idea evar D=maybe symphony x should hire... oh... say... john petrucci.

it's cool when he plays some parts of the guitar solo on the bass.He is a beast

ive heard thats how petrucci plays so good on the albums but when he plays live he messes up the solos, like As I Am at Budokhan!
He plays very nice live, but you have to admit that one can't always play perfect live.I haven't notice any mistakes in " As I am " at Budokan in the solo, he only missed the feedback at the beggining. At "live scenes from New York" he totally missed the sweep in "fatal tragedy".
P.S. Don't forget about the jet-leg.
