lmimp bizkit - significant other

I listen to this album with my girlfriend and sing all of it out loud! Every time! lol
Tight, natural and detailed, yet with so much punch.
I miss these kind of releases!!

Feeling old too.

Yesterday I saw a LB video in the related vids while surfing youtube. Then I watched like ten more. Say what you want about Fred, Nookie is one of the catchiest songs I have ever heard.

Yesss... Although I'm also more into Chocolate Starfish. Sure I'm a numetal guy and I'm not afraid to admit it. That's like the tone basis for modern metal music anyways. I love it when these modern metal bands diss Limp Bizkit and then play Dual Rectos and play basically the same music with a mediocre screamo guy in front. I'd rather listen to whiny vocals than vocals that I can only understand when I see the lyrics. :D

Saw LB live 2010. BOOM!! The best live energy and let's face it.. Wes Borland is the bomb! JOHN OTTO has one of the best grooves out there... comes from a swing music background. Amazing stuff!

Yea, I agree with you. I like all types of music, I feel like there are moments for everything, there are times when I love listening to LB and other nu-metal bands for their aggressiveness and rawness, at other times I prefer listening to modern metal type of music who would probably diss nu-metal, I feel like my mood has a lot to do w things as well. I grew up listening to LB, Korn, Slipknot, Mudvayne, and other bands, it wasn't til the blow of metal/hardcore that people started dissing nu-metal bands entirely. Yet they all have similar elements in their music. Til this day every now and then I listen to a few tracks of all the old bands I used to listen to, I have no ego, If i like it, I like it, I don't care what the others around me think about it. Besides we are already heading into a direction where a lot of newcomer bands (16-20) never really listened to music of the late 90s, because that was like nearly 15 years ago. There was a time a while ago, if you blasted slipknot or korn, people would recognize it easily, now a days, people of the younger generation would have a difficulty figuring out what you're listening to.

Yep, saw them last May and I agree, I have never seen band groove like that, it was HUGE.

I have told that since day one. When Limp Bizkit became famous.

I'm actually in a band that's like... Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park and Korn put together WITHOUT whiny vocals. It's called FISH DOLL!! We only have old recordings online but check them out if you like the genre:

This literally sounds like you set out to rip off Limp Bizkit's style as much as possible while leaving out the funk and hip-hop elements. How depressing.
