Lopez question

I always that that Lopez joined Opeth right after he recorded "Once Sent From The Golden Hall" with Amon Amarth. But I was reading the liner notes of MAYH and it says that it was recorded August/September 1997. And then in "Once Sent..." it says it was recorded Autumn 1997. So... was he still in Amon Amarth when he recorded MAYH?

opeth.com says he did OSFTGH just before joining Opeth. But the dates conflict with each other. According to the liner notes, MAYH was recorded first. Hmmmm..... I wonder ???

maybe opeth started recording late august and then did the drum tracks sometime in mid september, after recording of OSFTGH was completed? who knows.
