at last, a lost thread.
it's probably the second greatest show ever put on tv. it doesn't treat viewers like idiots and neatly wraps everything up all lovely and perfect at the end of every show, it actually makes you think about it...
and if you really pay attention, what makes it so awesome are all the recurring themes and ideas they put in every so often, you really need to think about what you see, and what people say.
it's the most interesting story arc i've ever watched, and when you think something is going to be resolved, something else comes along to fuck your brain hard, i bloody love it.
season 4 didnt start too well with all the freighter people that werent fully explained through backstory like all the other characters, but season 5 is making up for that by bringing in the whole time thing properly.
oh and ben linus IS THE MOST WATCHABLE CHARACTER IN HISTORY.

i saw the 1st episode n it bored me to tears, the only decent part was when someone got sucked up into the plane engine, that was funny, otherwise i really dont like it

see thats the thing about lost "saw the first episode, boring, didnt like it, wont watch it"
i saw the pilot episode at my exs house when it first aired, and it bored me shitless and i vowed never to watch it, but then i heard news of a hatch, smoke monster, others, pirate ship, and loads of other random stuff that made no sense but sounded intriguing...
so i re-watched it and it wasn't until the fourth/fifth episode where it went BMKJYFKKJBJYKYJJ and i was fucking hooked for life, that show can not be judged by its first few episodes, because they had no idea what they were doing with it then. they suddenly threw in some of the most awesome plot details and then kept on doing so until they had built up the most awesome premise on television.... a fucking crazy island that has strange things going on, that had scientists doing experiments on social matters, time and physics, electromagnetics and other things that have something to do with a smoke monster guarding everything, and various hatches and tunnels, and other people on the island that say its theirs, and an invisible dude called jacob and a man who doesnt seem to age, and the BEST unfathomable character in tv history, ben linus, and children being taken, and people who get pregnant on the island DIE, and the island needs the people on the island for some reason, and it heals some people and doesnt heal others, and theres some mercenaries who had been sent to kill ben linus and then something to do with time travel and it just keeps getting more awesome every episode, and theres juliet who used to be one of the others but now shes with the survivors but you still don't know if you trust her or not, and the island makes you see things that aren't there, and theres a recurring theme of redeeming yourself like where michael shot ana lucia and libby but redeemed himself by doing the thing with the bomb on the freighter or where charlie was addicted to heroin and kept being an idiot and a mess but he got into the underwater station and helped the survivors open communications with pennys plane. and theres michaels son walt who seems to have special powers of thinking about things and they happen and theres a statue that has four toes and in the first hatch there was a button that had to be pressed every 108 minutes that saved the world, and there are 6 numbers that are a special equation that add up to 108 that are the same 6 numbers that hurley won the lottery with before he crashed on the island and locke was paralysed before the crash but on the island he can walk around and throw knives at people and generally be awesome and sawyer doesnt trust him and a lot of the people are named after scientists or philosophers and it seemed ben had some kind of control over the smoke monster but he paid a heavy price for it, and some of the others can leave the island and come back to it, and some can leave but they can never return and theres a dude who is looking for island because he is connected with it somehow and it turns out hes pennys father and he and ben linus are at war for the island and ben linus is seriously cool.
and thats about 2% of all the awesomeness that happens on lost. people are seriously missing out if they arent watching lost, as it gives you something to think about, instead of watching fucking CSI or desperate housewives which are boring and dont need you to think about what you see.
lost is one big mind fucking moment after another, and it keeps getting better. long live lost! (for another 2 years anyway)

that hasn't been explained yet, i'm guessing it's to do with the islanders moving in time, or is it the island moving in time around them? don't know yet, but faraday was posing as a dharma worker for some reason, maybe to get close to the wheel they had just found....
it's getting more and more interesting though, i want to know why ben has just 70 hours to get the oceanic six back to the island.
