Loud or not loud?

Well I'm still mixing my cover of Obituary's Slowly We Rot, I'm not sure how loud I should go -

I haven't used anything like L3 or GClip on this.

I'm not happy with either of these, but do you think I should go loud, or keep it down?

I'm no expert, but it seems like you're not clipping at all on your loud one. The waveforms are pretty much exactly the same, but.. well... louder. What I'm trying to say is you're not squashing things, so go for the louder one... it's not different, it's just... louder.

Screw these two definitions of "loud"...
