Love of Live (part två)

I really have no idea right now. I remember reading a very good description of it once though, that made me realize; "Oh, yeah - that's so right"
Too bad I can't recall it now thogh...:p

Ha ha, would love to see that if you find it again! Actually, I have heard the rule sometime, several years ago, but I never heard the explanation as to why... The only thing I got was "Don't be that guy, man"

damnit, just found out that i'm not going to the Roadburn Festival in Tilburg on april 17, with Enslaved, Shining, Darkspace, Jesu a.o.:cry: Because 1) they only sell a 3-day ticket for 150 euro (!!); 2) it is sold out!!! :erk:

Månegarm in may was also cancelled :( and i'm not going to Ragnarök festival this year because the lineup is so boring... i was quietly hoping and praying Borknagar would just maybe come there but they won't most likely :(

Wow Elvina, you're so lucky, I'd love to see The Vision Bleak and Dornenreich :) .
haha yeah, when i saw the complete list myself like that i thought wow am i really going to see all those bands  i still cannot believe i've seen Ulver, it was so short and feels like a dream now...
the list is awesome but it's not complete without Borknagar, Týr and Vintersorg... i know i have seen Bork and Týr last year, and i will probably never ever get to see Vintersorg  but still... i would be totally happy! i guess it's never enough

I have seen both Vision Bleak and Dornenreich twice already but still it's so cool that they come here again! i guess Germany, Holland and Belgium must be the most toured countries in Europe, i do really appreciate that and take full advantage of it as you can see

Yeah you should, on behalf of all those poor metal-heads that don't get to see any bands in their own country :( .

i guess i can add 27.09.10 Holland Tilburg 013 to my list... i'm starting to feel a bit ashamed now...:oops:

I hate you.

;) .

Ohhh is it in the Kleine Zaal 013? That'd be great, it's an excellent venue, big enough to fit enough people, but small enough to make the concert very intimate. I saw The Gathering there, in which is considered by many one of their best concerts ever :) .

Sadly no, going to a gig in Copenhagen the same day. Would have liked to see Zonaria again though.

Going to Gothenburg in about an hour to see Hypocrisy!

Latest seen was Fear Factory and M.A.N in Malmö, possible contendor for show of the year! Amazing in every way, will see them again in Copenhagen later this week :)

Damn, seems as though we never will end up on the same concert again. Those beers we've talked about are starting to sound really exciting :kickass:

Would love to see Hypocrisy but there's no way I'm going up to Gothenburg just for a show. Any chance they're playing in Malmö? Probably not...

Yesterday evening I went to folk concert, The artist was Lajkó Félix on violin with Brasnyó Antal on viola, They played a mix of gipsy, hungarian and romanian folk music with a modern touch. For a better understanding of this kind of music here is a sample:

It was fucking brilliant, hope you`ll enjoy as mush as I do.

Saw Jane's Addiction and Faith No More last week. JA were great, although Perry's vocals were a tad week. Dave Navarro doesn't look a day over 16. FNM were fantastic. Mike Patton is such a fucking awesome performer.

i went to see pagan fest tuesday evening.
i was finally able to see arkona for the first time. they did a great show, and the singer she is so fucking beautiful and full of energy. but they unfortunately played 30 minutes. i don't know why but since some years a new fashion has born for live shows. they organize little festivals with 5 o 6 groups, but they play a shameful time, like 30 or 45 minutes.
from one side it's good because you can see more groups in one time, from the other if there's a group you really like you cannot appreciate it because you have only 30 minutes of show.
i wasn't impressed by the second group, which was Varg, i've never heard anything on cd but they didn't catch my attention that much.
then played dornenreich. i've seen them already one year ago, while supporting agalloch. this time they played better (at least they remembered to tune the violin this time ) but they are not my cup of tea.
i was satisfied with eluveitie. it was the first time for me, at the beginning the sounds were not so good to be honest, but they were adjusted during the first songs and in the end they did a great show....
then finntroll played. the show was a little bit worse than the one i've seen one year ago, but still valid and energetic. the venue was really full, and it's quite amazing because two years ago no one spoke about viking, folk or pagan metal, and in two year the phenomenon totally exploded :)
and i was finally able to try the new camera!!!! but being the first time with it, as i have tought, the photos are not so good...i need to make practice and get used with the new model!

i think you will have a great time elvina with your pagan fest!!!! :headbang:
