lryics on Looking Glass

I meant if he can remember what he actually sang when they recorded it... He might just make up some different syllables every time they do it... :p
I don't know how often they do it live, though in my opinion, it is the best behind Smoke And Mirrors as well... After he's been to your place, send him over to mine would you...

@ PMP - I dont usually like live albums much, but I have to agree with the others that the SyX one really is quite something.. and $38 for 2 discs is not that bad at all.. I think I actually paid about $45 for it a couple of years ago.. and have you looked at the COTM site? Their prices are much better than the stores (assuming you have a debit/credit card).. I like the live album because not only do the guys play just as brilliantly live as they do in the studio, Russ does different vocal emphases on songs on this than he does the studio versions, basically making the songs a whole new experience. Definately worthwhile for any SyX fan..

the way he does 'she said' on through the looking glass left me crumpled on the floor when i first heard it.. actually that makes me wanna listen to that song again..

EDIT: actually i realised its been years since ive listened to this album.. makes he really hate living in aus coz i will probably never experience a live show :(

DOUBLE EDIT (for the fun of it): @ PMP - if you want, add me to msn or something and i will SEND you the live version of through the looking glass, and if that doesnt convince you to run out and buy that album immediately, then god help us!

well i think i for one might just go ahead and buy it...

i think i need to buy a new copy of symphony x as well cuz mines all scratched up and I can't get and working rips off it. :(

To that end, I bought the live CD before I was finally able to find the studio CDs in the store, and I was a wee disappointed to not hear the vox in the studio versions from the live CD. Through the Looking Glass is absolutely amazing with Russ' "addendums", particularly launching the first solo section and then his overlapping vox with Romeo's guitar rules!

And Divine Wings of Tragedy is absolutely incredible on the live disc. "Romeo!"

I feel your pain... No live Symphony X...

Also, if I had any money I would go buy the Live one, but unfortunately I'm completely broke at the moment... :erk:

The one that's always had me stumped is in Fallen

"Fallen for lost in time"

Isn't it supposed to be "Fallen, forever lost in time" ?? according to the booklet? I don't have it here in front of me at work :(.

Oh jesus, she's only right because she's got a pair o' boobies. *rolls eyes*

 you know i'm just messin' with you :D

hey man, u were the one who brought up her boobs, not us!

besides i read the book, she's right and i never questioned that part anyway.

I listened it a few times now. It's so clearly "forever."

At first I listened the wrong part "dividing the fathers of time" and thought how it can sound so strange, then I remembered how the lyrics go. :D
