I don't remember seeing these guys mentioned on the board. They only released 1 album and then broke up or changed their name or something. Elvenefris is one of the most original death metal albums I’ve heard. Their sound is hard to describe. At times they sound similar to Cryptopsy, but they are also very melodic for a death/grind band. here's a link

This stuff is amazing, I don't really think I've heard anything quite like it before. Shame they've split up... certainly doesn't seem like they are still going.

yeah I heard of em like 2 years ago. I had Land Where Sympathy is Air in my mp3 list for all that time and always felt I had to hear more, but it's a shame they split up.

edit: I think their stuff is 100 times better than Cryptopsy btw.
