I decided to try and figure out Hellhounds by comparing multiple live versions against the album. As expected, I came into many differences and eventually just chose to write lyrics for the live version..

So, this was my result (and note that I did this very quickly before I have to go to work):

As I said when I posted the reply, it could be wrong. Google finally has support for Finnish translation but not everything came out.

As I said when I posted the reply, it could be wrong. Google finally has support for Finnish translation but not everything came out.

There is better translation for that, dont trust Google. Thats pretty bad translation

Some parts are just copied from the previous attempts, and I still think it's pretty inaccurate, even though I'd say that i got the first verse pretty close. words/sections encased between *asterisks* are questionable because they dont sound right, are completely non sequitur, or my lyrics just dont make sense.

also, if anybody is still reading this thread, i was wondering about the lyrics on the hatecrew... are they directly from alexi, or what?

mainly im wondering because of the second line in TMR:

"Once I've decided I've got stories to tell"

not only does the section of the song between "am i trippin' or am i alive?" and "no way in hell was that just a motherfucking dream" seems too long to stretch these words into, but i cant seem to make the slightest bit of sense of it, even with the 'official' lyrics.

i was just wondering if the lyrics on the hatecrew are definitely correct.

the lyrics that they posted make sense, but don't really seem to fit into the song when i listen to it.

and im not knocking alexi. he kicks ass in astronomical proportions

i think this is right, except for the last line... i mean, lobodomy is a such a BA song, and it doesn't seem to fit that he's just saying 'hey let me go'. this is more a moment for one of those disturbed-esque lines like

'here it comes, get ready to die!'



edit: and im not bashing alexi. CoB's lyrics are so ambiguous that im sure there is something else in there that makes more sense. after all, everybody thought blooddrunk was just a messy composition of incongruent words and it turned out to have some pretty righteous lyrics (which made sense, too.)

Anyways, it's really far from perfect but a good chunk of it feels right. I'd appreciate any help you guys can give me with those blank spots.

I fixed some very minor flaws in there, you missed a few words. Also in the end I thin it sounds a bit more like either kill or die in the end but the scream makes it a million times more difficult to make sense of.

In the Chaos Ridden Years live performance, on the last chorus of their ending song Downfall, do any of you hear "I see bitches burning" rather than "I see angels burning"? It really sounds like it to me heh.

It real sounds like that...in both the chorus...
If you make attention yuo can hear angels by the way...but i don't know

I don't know why but in th live chaos ridden years,in sixpounder it's very hard to understand the second and the fourth sentences of the first,second,fourth and fifth verse
has somebody understood those sentences?
