In Flames lyrics discussion

Do you guys know where I can the official lyrics to SOAPF?

It'd be awesome to have correct lyrics on my iPod :)

No one has them yet since the album just released today in Sweden. But Krofius said he would put them up here unless someone does it before him. Just be patient. :)

So, in Vacuum, I know the lyric is written as "Smile, applaud, love, hail" but I really hear "Smile, applaud, o-bey" for all but maybe the first time he says it. Thoughts?

Nope: i seriously can't here 'o-bey'. I guess it is because i have the album w/ lyrics book, and the first time i heard the song i read through the lyrics. To my ears it is definitely pronounced "Smile, Applaud, Love, Hail- the weaker you get, the stronger they become".

Great song BTW :D

I have the physical album, too. It's how I first heard In Flames. I'm sure he still says, "Love, Hail" but most if the time with the way he pronounces that, I hear "o-bey". Oh well.

I hear smile, aplaud, love, hail. Makes a little more sense when you pair it with the other section of" lie, rape, steal and murder", both have four words. And yeah, great song, one of my favourites from CC.

As far as my favourite lyrics go, Jotun probably takes the cake. Cryptic, dark and apocalyptic. "The privilege of a twenty-two kilometer tombstone"- awesome imagery. And the reference at the end to reptile skulls, great.

Pretty much every song from Clayman too. Brush the Dust Away's "get in line for tragic, let us dance to the pistol magic", "splinters of a poem" from Bullet Ride, etc. All awesome. Except S&A. :p

And of course TJR. Artifacts lyrics probably my favourite from it. Sounds like it's about nuclear fallout to me, after the bombs have dropped. Whatever it means, it's awesome.

I know it makes more sense, I just, I don't know, I mostly hear the other thing. Oh well. Whatever. Great lyrics regardless.

"I think the most haunting question is... why did production on Bottled start?"
