M-Audio Fast Track Ultra 8R

Hey! i have been wanting to make a switch to ProTools for a bit now, and was wondering if any one has used the fast track 8r.
I am kinda concerned because of it being usb 2.0.
I am also wondering if anyone knows if I would be able to re-amp with it.
If this one won't work I guess i'm left with the digi 003+ or the profire 2626.

Hey! I just got the M-Audio Fast Track Ultra (4 ins version though, not 8R) and so far it's been great. I've reamped with it no problem. I don't have any problems with USB 2.0, but I don't really have anything to compare it to, since I just upgraded from an Audiobox and that was usb too.

Dude, I just bought a M-Audio Fast Track Ultra 8R recently from one another forum member. It's a great piece of hardware. It sounds great and I've had no problems with it so far.

I have the 8r model but I dont use the USB for audio I use the SPDIF interface
and I have no problems or drop outs.

Haven't used the Fast Track, but I will say I'm really happy with my Profire 2626 (though it seems to be about $150 bucks more).
