I have both of mine connected with ADAT. I like my Profires better than I liked my Firepod.

Well y'know... the instrument inputs are a lot quieter than what you get on the Mackie Satellite - the difference is quite stark!

Mine can go up into clipping with pickups. So they're more than hot enough for recording. You don't have the knob pulled out do you? (-20dB pad)

I meant lower noise. I plugged into the instrument input yesterday, and loaded up Revalver - it never sounded so good! Previously.... there was always a hint of "Podishness" about the thing; it sounded like a distorted guitar, but it didn't sound like a mic'd amp. Well, that's no longer the case.
