I think it's a fantastic album.......
I like it veeeeeeeeeeer very much, although I was negative when I first bought it, but I soon changed my opinion....
For someone expecting a B/M album, it is sure that he won't like it......
Forget that this album is "MayheM" and try to listen and see it from a different view..... as a weird B/M album made by some Norwegian muscisians.....and nothing more.....

I think it's amazing. I own all the Mayhem official releases except for Deathcrush which I have on Mp3s, and AGDoW is an incredible piece of work. I love Maniac's vocals, and Hellhammer is reaching new heights of brilliance.

I saw them live when they toured Australia last October and it was mind blowing.

When mayhem played in Bergen , a man got injured after a non-intended, brutal meeting with a sheeps head thrown from the stage. The man got a fracture in his skull and had to go through surgery. Ha. And his parents have brought charges to the band. Ha ha.

So again the newspapers here are filled by mayhem-stuff (links are of course in norwegian):

I think it is a new studio album. I've read from various sources that one's being released this year, and Hellhammer told me late last year that they were to enter the studio in Jan/Feb of this year.

So it looks like it.

To continue the band now with the same name, is like paul and ringo starts up beatles again.

But GDOW aint that bad as people say. I wouldent buy it, but its still okay. And Maniac is an asshole, as much as he is a bad musician and VOX. But that asshole part goes for the rest of mayhem to, so I guess that is kind of an tradition. Dont know about DEAD though, dont know much about him.

How are they assholes? On the dvd they come off as a bit egotistical, but not to the point of being assholes I wouldn't think.
