Mac Pro future?

Hey guys,

I've been reading around a bit but haven't had time to follow the discussion around this subject. If you were to build a new studio today, would you buy a new Mac Pro? Rumour has it that a new revision is popping up very soon, but other rumours say that the Mac Pro is getting discontinued by Apple.

I know that there are lots of people here that are a lot more in the loop when it comes down to computers than me, is it worth it to get a new Mac Pro now or should I wait around for a few months? We have an older Mac Pro(intel, 2007?) in the studio which runs HD10 just fine, but a new computer is an absolute must. Does anyone have any good links/rumours/opinions about the matter?

P.S. Windows is not an option

If Apple would discontinue the Mac Pro Line, which I hope they don't, you could still build your own Hackintosh by modifing a PC with the same components which Apple is using. This would allow you to run OSX on a PC just like you would on a Mac.
