Magic never caught my interest, I used to collect pokemon cards though and didn't learn how to play it until years after it was no longer popular.
HA, thats cool. Magic is actually a little more mature than that and requires a good amount of thought, but i understand the general lack of enthusiasum toward card games so its whatever.....
Failure of threads just owned everyone in here........
Idk, i find that if you're playing a person with these absurdly powerful cards and you also have your own it'd even it out. I play with my friends and at out local comic/game shop. I'm pretty good, theres a few people at the shop with decks made of pretty much all old cards who can beat my ass down and in my deck...well i dont discriminate.lol. I've got an array of all time periods of cards. The most powerful/dickish card in my deck is called "Mind Funeral" it makes the opponet put cards from thier deck into thier graveyard until four land cards are revealed, with the intent of winning the game via deck out.lol.
Good until fourth, maybe fifth edition.
Then pish.
Dude...waterfront bouncer?!? Alexi zephir mage?!? Fuckin CAPSIZE?!? You must be kidding me. Magic went cool when they invented the sliver.
I think its retarded that people automatically think any Caucasian individual who is interested in anime or anything that is considered "nerdy" or "geeky" takes part in cosplay or looks like the stereotypical geek. Its like people thinking everyone who listens to metal is a violent blue collared worker who barely graduated high school........oh wait.
