There's been a lot of Maiden stuff out recently that, for reasons of apathy or expense, I haven't bothered with. Edward The Great and Rock In Rio are forgettable at best, and much as I'd like a copy of Eddie's Archive, I can't justify spending that amount of money on something I already own a third of (the B-sides).
What I would like to see is separate reissues of all the stuff in the box set, perhaps with a DVD of the Beast Over Hammersmith concert. While we're talking DVDs, I'd also like a complete set of Maiden video clips on a single disc with commentary from the band.
And wouldn't Edward The Great have been so much better if, instead of the usual singles and "hits", they'd released live versions of the same tracks, recorded during the corresponding tours? That'd be worth a listen .
