OUT NOW FROM MAJESTIC ROCK RECORDS:
Something old, something new, something borrowed (...from our own catalogue, that is!) but nothing really very blue this month from Majestic Rock...
The new comes in the shape of the awesome debut album from Kinrick, featuring ex-Firewind vocalist Stephen Fredrick and Vain Glory guitarist Corbin King. This album rocks big style and is the most explosive power metal release of 2005 so far. Check out the two sample tracks for confirmation of this fact.
Old is taken care of very nicely by the release of Clash Of The Titans by Medusa. Containing the vocal talents of Steve Grimmett (Grim Reaper / Onslaught / Lionsheart) and the guitar work and drumming of future Wrathchild men Lance Perkins and Eddie Smith respectively, this is an unearthed NWOBHM gem that no collector of the genre can possibly afford to be without.
Whilst on the subject of the NWOBHM, Majestic Rock release a collection of music from many of the genre`s big hitters and bright young things this month. Empire Of Thunder - A NWOBHM Collection does just what it says on the tin (OK, case). Contained therein are tracks from Tobruk, Heavy Pettin`, Chariot, Tytan...plus a few surprises.
Lastly this month, Majestic Rock is proud to be able to pipe aboard the greatest hard rock band that Uncle Sam has ever given the world in the rockin` form of the mighty Legs Diamond. This month, we reissue the stunning Uncut Diamond release - fresh with newly improved artwork and sleeve notes from respected journo and all round Legs Diamond know all Dave Reynolds. April sees the release in Europe of the band`s Favorites Volume 1 compilation, neatly putting the best of the band`s past work together with two brand new tracks. Later this year, Majestic Rock will be releasing the band's latest studio album, though sadly only in Japan [Euro release via AOR Heaven].

Kinrick's Sense Your Darkness - Feauturing the talents of ex-Firewind vocalist Stephen Fredrick, Vainglory guitarist Corbin King and Firewind / Pagan's Mind drummer Stian Kristoffersen, with bass duties handled by Zanister bassist James Martin, Kinrick could rightly be called a power metal super group. Sense Your Darkness is an intense and brutal power metal experience that ranks as one of the finest releases in the genre in recent years. Expect much more from this band in the years to come - this is only the beginning!
The track listing for the album is: Call Of Honor . Throughout All Time . I Fight Alone . Dressed Up As God . Through The Void . Stand Up And Fight . For Your Evil . Make Me A Man . Empire Falls Again . Sense Your Darkness.

Medusa - Clash Of The Titans - Before Lionsheart, before Onslaught, before even Grim Reaper…there was Medusa. Vocalist Steve Grimmett and future Wrathchild guitarist and drummer Lance Perkins and Eddie Smith formed the band in late 1978, making them one of the first NWOBHM acts of note. The band never got to release any material, making these previously unheard recordings incredibly important for fans of the NWOBHM and Mr. Grimmett alike.
Taken from two demo recordings and a live rehearsal, the sound is raw and exciting. This is one of the greatest rock vocalists of his generation taking his initial steps into professional music. By early 1982, Grimmett had joined Grim Reaper and the rest, as they say, is metal history.
Too Far Too Soon . Conquest Of The Skies . Turn To Stone . Getting Faster . Buried Aliv . Lady Killer . Ripper's Delight . Can't Get Away . Lady Killer* (Live Rehearsal) . Ripper's Delight* (Live Rehearsal) . Too Far Too Soon* (Live Rehearsal) . Can't Get Away* (Live Rehearsal).

Various - Empire Of Thunder - A NWOBHM Collection - Featuring many of the big hitters from the legendary New Wave Of British Heavy Metal movement plus a few surprises, 'Empire Of Thunder' is an excellent place to start for anybody who is new to the music of that period and also a great addition to the collection of those who were there at the time!
All regions of the 'Empire…' are represented, from Scotland's Heavy Pettin' to Birmingham's Tobruk and London's Sabre containing sleeve notes by respected NWOBHM expert John Tucker, this is a celebration of all that was best about the music that emanated from the 'Empire Of Thunder' a quarter of a century ago.
Tytan – Cold Bitch . Medusa – Too Far Too Soon . Chariot – Vigilante . Bitches Sin – Strangers On The Shore . Shiva – Ring Of Fire . Heavy Pettin' – Roll The Dice . Tobruk – Wild On The Run . Sabre – Can You Feel It? . Blind Fury – Do It Loud . Quartz – Circles . Chariot – So Blind . Heavy Pettin' – Heart Attack.

Legs Diamond - Uncut Diamond - Legs Diamond are often described as the greatest American hard rock band of the late Seventies and early Eighties or '….the American Deep Purple'. Be that as it may, what is undoubtedly true is that, in Legs Diamond, A Diamond Is A Hard Rock and Firepower, they released three of the finest albums in the hard rock genre of the period. Uncut Diamond contains the songs that, had they made album number four at that time, would have featured on that record. As it is, the next Legs Diamond album wasn't to surface for a few years.
For lovers of classic hard rock and lovers of the 1980's US scene, his is invaluable stuff. With the band back together and promising a new album later this year, what better time to check out what all the fuss is about…?
Winds Of Fortune . Between The Legs . House On Fire . High School Queen . Symptoms Of Passion . Dance Hall Gigolo . Fight For It 8. Hidin' . Gamblin' On You . My Own Game . Urban Desperado . Card Shark . Smother Me.
