Making my own tci's

Hey guy's
Quick question about making samples

Is there supposed to be absolutely NO silence at the start of file you are turning into a tci?
Sorry if this doesn't make sense it's a little hard to explain

yeah actually no silence or you will have latency problems!

here´s how to do it in your DAW! Zoom into the file real close until you can see the hit it´s going to go up really fast cut it before the hit! And then play a loop of the selection you made to hear if it sounds natrual!

cutting too much away on the beginning of the sample will sond strange! so just zoom in and cut the file where you see the lines of the wave are going up
