Last time I checked, grammar and punctuation were too different things .

punctuation is part of grammar, as it is part of the language syntax.

In Finland we call them 'kielipoliisi' or 'pilkunnussija', which means grammar nazi, but literally means "language police" and "the one who fucks a comma".
