Hay Guys :)

Title tells it. Recently I'm enjoying some good old eastern movies. Can you recommend some authentic, well choreographed movies? Are there even some more recent ones out there I shouldn't miss?

Greetings :kickass:

Felix

Ip man, Ong bak, bloodsport, lionheart, the redemption, druken master. It´s what I remember now. Ah, a very good one that I saw lately, Undisputed 3.

Bruce lee filmography is so obvious for martial arts lovers that I didnt even mentioned.

I included original titles too since some English titles are generic or common names. Just to avoid getting the wrong movie . Some good suggestions here but I'll try to recommend new ones.

I posted at work but now that I'm at a PC I added some stuff and cleaned this up :p

Fist of Legend (my favourite Jet Li movie)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0110200/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

Fearless (aka-Huo Yuanjia) I highly recommend this one, it's one of the better martial art movies I've seen
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0446059/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

Iron Monkey - This was one of the first older Martial arts movies I saw, it opened up kung fu movies for me
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0108148/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_46

Legend of The Drunken Master - Jackie Chan in his prime, with lots of humor to keep it interesting.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0111512/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

Kill Zone SPL (Aka - Saat po long)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0478024/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_24

Fatal contact (aka -Hak Kuan) It's sort of a tournament martial arts flick with some badass and brutal fights
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0813549/?ref_=fn_al_tt_2

Zatoichi - I've only seen the 2003 movie, there are earlier 80's movies too though. It's about a blind swordsman and it's pretty cool.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0363226/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

Once upon a time in China series - They are a bit outdated now but these launched Jet Li's career. One of the coolest scenes ever in here, a fight that takes place in a room full of ladders.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0103285/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

Tai Chi Master - A good movie about two students that end up on different sides of a war.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0108281/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

New Police Story - Jackie Chan shows some acting chops here
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0386005/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

Shinobi - Not related to the Games. I saw it recently on a whim and it turned out to be a really fun movie. Lot's of good scenes and cinematography.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0475723/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

House of Flying Daggers - Thought this is kind of obvious like crouching Tiger or Hero, but just in case since it's good.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0385004/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

Honestly most of Jet Li's movies and a lot of Donnie Yen's movies are sure to please.

Updated my list above. If I think of anything else I'll post it, I'm too lazy to break out my DVD's for more . I'm actually a little behind on some of the post 2010 movies now maybe I should do a little refresher.

Awesome!!! Thank you, mates :) Especially @Belac! This seems to be a hell of a list!! :kickass: Lots of stuff to choose from now.

Btw there are some older Jackie Chan movies on YT in good quality...whoohoo! :)
