Masters One Cymbals Set Problem

I just bought this set, and I'm getting an error when I try to load the multi in Kontakt. It just says "The patch could not be loaded (Unknown Error)". Any idea what could be causing this? I'm really bummed : /

Stupid question, but how do I check my Kontakt version? I tried finding it to no avail. And do you mean re-downloading the samples? Thanks man.

Yes, if you have 4.1 or higher re-downloading the masters one set might be the best bet. Something could have gone wrong in the download and corrupted the files.

To check the version, Open Kontakt in the standalone version and click Help -> About Kontakt. The version number is on there.

Is the masters download only supposed to come with only the kontakt multi instrument and the cymbal map? My buddy said it was because I dont actually have the wavs of the cymbals, but I didn't think that was the problem.

They only come with the Kontakt multi. All the samples are loaded into the multi

So what could the problem possibly be? I run Logic, and so does the second computer I tried the samples on. I decided to try it on my windows computer running cubase, and it worked. Could this be a logic problem possibly?

It won't even let me open the kontakt multi instrument file :/

no no, you HAVE to have the WAVs.
How is kontakt supposed to know what sounds to be playing if you dont have the sounds themselves?

^ only the .nkm Kontakt file and some text file are included Seth. Samples are within the the multi (it is 363Mb)

I dont have this sample set so I cant look into it but I am actually very confused on how a nkm could hold all the data's sounds in them as well.

Try updating to the latest version of Kontakt 4.
