Maxon OD820 Issue

So I've had my maxon for over two years now and all of a sudden when I click the overdrive the light flashes real quick and shuts off. i changed the battery and have been using the same psu, no luck still the same quick light then shut off.

anyone have any suggestions? has this happened to anyone?

Are you still getting sound through it when it's bypassed?

You guys have any suggestions on this? I am willing to pay someone to fix this thing lol or willing to try something myself if anyone has any ideas?

I'm opening up the back of mine right now... maybe I can give you some insight....

Ok so I'm not going to pull out the board, but from what I can see already, the wires in this thing are cheap and thin, and have very bad solder joints. One was non exsistant at the footswitch and I wiggled it right out.... I would start there and see if that's causing it. Other wise I would suspect a problem with a component.

BTW these don't look like true bypass to me.
