Tad got an email from Joey and his wife (whom I met before the show trying to clear up the meet and greet) apologizing for all the confusion. very nice of them, to say the least

Wow, story above sounds familiar, think I posted a story about this not too long ago, that was with Joey and Dan in the band. Although,
Have met them before, with Rob and John. That was setup from a good friend of the owner of the venue. The guy walked me around to all the security guards, introducing me, no pass, but pretty much said, "hey, this guy belongs." And Rob was hella cool. Rob's awesome, signed tons, total down to earth guy. Was there at the venue way early. Wish the pictures would have turned out. Stupid cheap camera's flash wouldn't shut off.

We got the shirt in the mail about two days before the show. We got there and no one who worked there knew what was going on but we did find where to pick up the tickets pretty easily. They told us to be there at 4:30 and the meet and greet was at 7:00, although the instructions made you think it was at 5:00. There was no backstage tour and my tickets were in the 14th row. Damn was I pissed. I like Megadeth but I really wanted to be that up close for Fear Factory. Then the meet and greet (where you got the book) was the same as the meet and greet when you paid for a CD and got them to autograph it at the FYE booth. I didn't even bother to go because I wanted to see Fear Factory and the meet and greet was for the same time. Had I know that crap was going to happen I would never have paid so much for the tickets. We did eventually get $100 back per ticket which was good but I really wanted the front row experience where I wasn't being knocked around and had to protect myself. Then when I was on the Megadeth message board, one of the girls post that there must have been a glitch with Ticketmaster (who knows if that is true or not) but she paid regular price and SHE got the front row tickets. A few dudes in the same row as we were in didn't even get their shirts in time for the show. I will never purchase anything through FanFire again.
I'm signed up for the Borgata this Sunday and will be really bummed if things get fucked up but the only saving grace will be that I spent $30 for the fan club as opposed to $250.

I just wanted so spark this one up. My story is just like all the others I have read. Disorganized bullshit, no explanation. If they are going to make a PROMISE of a meet and greet they should appoint one of the recipients of the passes as an organizer. Someone who could go to the venue and request that there be a appropriate place at a scheduled time to hold the event. They only give out 20 passes max. It shouldn't be that hard to accomplish. If the CDC can't figure it out or don't care to do so I could think up some guidelines for the fans to follow. Could the band set the time? I don't want everyone else to feel fucked over like I do.
By the way, yes I do consider the offer for a meet and greet a promise. Nothing said: Do Not Expect This Meet and Greet To Happen!!

We were at the Jaxx show. We had the "after show" passes. We were standing at the front door right next to the door to the upstairs form 9:00 to 9:30 waiting, because the security guy was running around trying to act like he knew what was going on. So if the meet and greet was upstairs at 9:15, that would be pretty shitty if the people working there had no clue.
Yes Anthrax put on a good show, but the anticipation if meeting the band made it a good show for me, then the Balloon busrts with 2 month old milk spraying everywhere, you guys gotta go, the band is gone and are not coming back. FUCK YOU ANTHRAX, new album next year, What it going to be 'The Even Greater of THREE Evils" with Scott saying, "Ummm, I lied about the Jon Bush Evils album, they really weren't supposed to sound like that....Ummm (taking fist out of ass) they were really supposed to have Joey's voice on them and This album is the real anthrax, gimme me some more money."
Anthrax is a bunch of Cash-Money Whores: Putting out a album with of old songs with the new singer on it (I have no problem with Jon Bush- Bush era Anthrax was awesome). Then reuniting with old singer to do reunion tour, then releasing three or four albums and or DVDs of rehashed Anthrax Live the Island Years and NFV (real original), then Faking a FUCKIN Meet and Greet to scam diehards fans out of an extra 30 bucks (including over priced shipping) after the fricken diehard fans went and bought the fricken tickets for $35 (plus 4.50 to ticketmaster).
Sounds like a mastercard commercial with the FANS getting FUCKED up the ARSE. Priceless for Scott and Charlie.

I was a member of the old NFC way back when Kristine Vogel was running it. She was cool as shit. She snail mailed me all this Anthrax shit that I no longer have from moving around so much when I was a kid. She also went to the shows and made sure me and my buds all made it backstage.

I feel if you spend you're hard earned money supporting a band for 20+ years (even through all the line-up changes) and then you get treated like this after paying money for a stoopid fan club (come on I'm 34 years old, a little old to be getting psyched up about a freakin fanclub, unless therer is another motive behind it. I joined it because I thought it was a SURE fire way to meet the whole band. I have meet so many bands at jaxx without a fanclub. I met all of Exodus on Tempo of Damned with Souza (nice guys who enjoyed talking with the fans).
Not sure where I am going with this, but since I'm here, Go buy the new Exodus it kicks fuckin ass even with a (almost) whole new band, Gary Holt is still an awesome guitarist (who played at Jaxx, sick as a dog and still meet with the fans before and after the show).
Exodus Fuckin Rocks, Anthrax Fuckin Sucks. I hope Armored Saint makes an Awesome come back so when Joey gets sick of putting up with Charlie and Scott, Jon can tell them to SOD OFF.
