i don't really have one favorite band cause theres so many i can say are the best but Megadeth has and will always rock.....

They're two of my favorite bands for sure. I don't really make lists of "favorites" but if I did, they would both be in the top 10 I bet.

Both bands remain my faves... totally awesome Live I cannot count how any times I've seen Megadeth at least 10 and I know at least 5 for Anthrax!! Seeing Megadeth next Wed. with the Heaven and Hell tour!!
seen Megadeth only once in NY years ago with Body Count and Suicidal Tendencies... there good maybe even great but i wouldn't say they rule... they haven't done anything really worthy in a long time...

Anthrax up to "Persistence of Time" and Megadeth up to "Cryptic Writings" (with some reserves) are indeed great bands. Aftewards is like Metallica post-AJFA, Def Leppard post-"Pyromania", Sepultura post-"Arise", etc.
Ruling bands? Motorhead and Saxon definitively, longevity and quality all the way.

Megadeth were my favourite band for a long time, until 97 (Cryptic writings suck).that year I saw them live twice in Portugal (Oporto and Cascais).These were the best shows I've ever been to.

umm megadeths last album the system have failed and their new album united abominations are better then anything they've done in a long time

Megadeth STILL slay live! Saw them at the first Gigantour. Dave still has it, and the Brothers Drover are VERY talented. Good choices of musicians, Dave!
Better doesn't mean great... they haven't been great since R.I.P. or Countdown imo...
