Mellotron Heart vs. Porcelain Heart

I've gathered that many people here don't think highly of Porcelain Heart, but between these two "versions", which do you guys prefer?

Personally I'd choose Mellotron Heart. I like the eerie feel.

mellotron heart because it's shorter, the mellotrons made the song cooler, and i like the mellotron

Aww, I did a search and apparently didn't go through enough pages to find the already-done post.

Since the original poster hardly remembers it, and I'm more concerned with the why, I guess I'll leave this up. Why did everyone, at the last response, prefer Porcelain Heart?

Anyway, though I like mellotrons, I definitely prefer Porcelain Heart over Mellotron Heart.

Haha, just kidding. But in all seriousness, I myself definitely prefer Porcelain Heart over Mellotron Heart, even though I really like mellotrons. PH is just more interesting to me, I guess.

i think it would have been better combining the two, although atmosphere-wise i believe its PH is the strongest track on the album.

Mellotron Heart. I don't like the metal parts on this one. They're simply uninspiring and typical. The intro riff is good though.

Yeah, Mellotron Heart is really spooky...and captivating. On the other hand, I also like Porcelain Heart. Tough choice.
