Phil Anselmo isn't a bad vocalist really. Its just that the bands hes in are bad.

Naildown's vocals are little weak, TBH. Not bad, though.

Here's a melodeath band with weak vocals, but the riffing and soloing more than make up for it:

Nah. It's more like a melodic black/death mix. Regardless, Dissection pre-Reinkaos is amazing stuff.

Admit it, I'm not the only one here who listens to this sappy bullshit. I'm a proud fan of In Flames and Soilwork, and I can even appreciate Scar Symmetry from time to time.

What's wrong with to listen to Melodeath? It's not Pop.

I don't know many bands of this genre, but I'm a big fan of Hypocrisy and Dark Tranquillity.
