I was there, you can actually see me in this video. This was when Anthrax was at the height of their career. Don't know why they decided to change vocalists and change their sound. But hey what ever works!

They decided to change vocalists because Joey apparently couldn't sing in tune - Scott said so. Read some interviews from aruond GOTE time.

This place is really, really tiring. One month it's Bush fans bashing Joey, the next it's Joey fans bashing Bush.

I don't get it, both eras were fucking great.

Yeah I'm over it too. And it's always the same people posting the same boring shit. Get over it already.

Joey looks AWESOME in this video!!!! Man oh man, he was really tearing it up! LOL! The whole metal/rap thing to me was an abortion. All it created was LImp Triscuit & Korn. Granted Anthrax was a founder of this, but I think this is one of the reasons a lot of my friends who loved metal back in the day avoided Anthrax: the kitschy stuff like "I'm the Man" and this song. Oh well. Salvation was coming in '92 when they hired a singer to straighten their shit out! And for 13+ years, they rolled on like champs, and put out great music. Too bad, it's all over now!

Yep Rolled on like Champs, could barely stay afloat. Couldn't even sell out small clubs. They really rolled on like champs lol. Almost had to disband. Sounds like they just chugged right along and built up steam. Once Vol 8 hit they were just on top of the world. 300 people into 500 capacity clubs is VERY impressing.

This made me laugh until I cried.:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I hated that song with P-E. It just seemed like a cash grab in order to get "cred" with some of PE' fans. I'm the man was cool and innovative but to me this was the beginning of the end of that era
