Mesa Impulse

This was my first attempt. I figured since I used other peoples, I should post mine. This was recorded with a Mesa Rectifier 2:100 poweramp through a Rectifier 4x12 mic'ed with an AKG 414 to a firepod. It was my first attempt so I just used 24bit 44.1k I use it Direct with my Mesa Recording pre Recording outs and it sounds sweet!

Wondering how you do that? What are the steps to making an impulse? I'm on a mac with logic 8 express, btw.

Well, it took me awhile to search on this forum to find out myself, I used the demo of voxengo deconvolver, click generate tone, use tone through amp, record tone with choice mic setup. deconvolve tone. And there you go. For whatever reason when I deconvolved the sweep tone it changed it to several pulse tones so I took the loudest one clipped it and that is the one I used. Not sure if that is right way but it worked for me.
