THD Hotplate test.

I did a little test recording this evening with my new THD Hotplate. the first half of the clip is with my mesa 20/20 poweramp cranked, and the attenuation on the hotplate bringing it down to quiet speaking levels. the second clip is exactly the same except with the "bright" switch on the hotplate switched on. no processing post recording.

The bright switch makes it sound too fuzzy to me. The first clip sounds good man.

i actually like your playing. second clip is too fizzy,
but the first one rocks. with the top end rolled off it
should be really fine.

Right, I slapped some filtering on it cut everything below 80hz and above 8khz. I know the 8khz is a little low, but it seemed to be where I needed to have it to cut out that fizz.
