It's more of the same, sort of an extension of Mechanize. Worth checking out for sure, but doesn't sound as fresh as Mechanize did when it first came out (at least to me).

Was just going to fucking post that. Fucking awesome. I had no idea they were even doing a new album. Life Sentence is pretty much as good, if not better than, Court in the Act. I hope this is just as good. The song fucking rules.

Court in the Act at it's best is way better than Life Sentence, but the song quality does kind of drop off halfway, whereas Life Sentence is consistent throughout and the last song is probably the best on the album. Life Sentence is probably one of the best comeback albums ive ever heard. Nothing groundbreaking, but just totally kickass heavy metal with great dueling leads.

New song sounds like more of the same, cant wait for the full length!

two of the best four songs on COURT IN THE ACT ('trial by fire', 'broken treaties', 'break free' and 'alone in the dock') are on the b-side, and the last song is both the best on the album and my personal favourite from the entire NWOBHM.

i didn't really like the angel witch comeback iirc, might give it another try though.
