If they are headlining wouldnt they play at least 14-15 songs? ATL is only 9 so theyll have time for more songs.

I have seen headliners at these kind of shows play for 60 minutes. I hope this isn't the case but it does happen. Among the Living runs 50 minutes normally but with a live performance it could run longer or shorter. It will take up the majority of their time.

Cool, but I wonder how much time they'll give Exodus. I could care less about the other bands on the bill, but I've never seen Exodus and I hope they get a decent amount of time.

Same. Gonna guess Exodus will be maybe 45 minutes.

With 5 bands, and adding in stage setup time between sets, that would make for a long night. I'm guessing the first few bands are going to have shorter sets than that.

Indeed! Short sets are what we are going to get for sure. Especially if they are still adding bands. Maybe Shadows Fall is covering for another band that can't make some of the shows.

One surprise is that Metal Alliance Tour is definitely going to turn out better than Mayhem Fest this year.

It's not true, Anthrax will not play ATL in it's entirety.

Charlie told me last year before the BIG4 show he will never play part of some song off ATL, forget the name of the song...darn

I can back this up. There's something about Imitation of Life that makes them not want to play the whole thing. When I saw them do ATL during the Rob Zombie tour, they played ATL "in its entirety" by playing every song until Imitation of Life and then like the first minute of Imitation.

I asked Joey about it afterwards and he didn't really give me the reason, but it was clear that there is something about the song. I think they play just enough of it (the beginning) to say they "played" every song.

Don't be surprised if you don't hear the entire song on this tour. I hope I'm wrong: killer song!

I think in Charlie's recent interview he said the was in "training" for playing a very fast song that was not played last time. If I remember right, Imitation was left out because of the way ADI ends, it super fast and intense, then the next song being imitation, there's no break. Also the scism about Imitation is that it's an extended version of the SOD song Aren't You Hungry?

This is the big one, we know they've been rehearsing it. Either way, I guess we'll find out later tonight...
