I'm not quite sure if this thread has been here already, but I'd be interested in your opinions about good metal music video.

Myself I'd like to mention some good (metal) videos:

- System of a Down - Toxicity (simple, but works)
- Nine Inch Nails - Closer
- Marilyn Manson - Beautiful People

And rock-videos in general (this is a 3-best-list)

1. Beastie Boys - Sabotage (great, truly innovative. the song itself is not that good, but it's ok also, and works well with the video)

2. Radiohead - Street Spirit (this is hard stuff, it really strikes very deep.)

3. Aphex Twin - Come To Daddy (This is truly incredible, it's so incredible that it hurts. It's awesome).

I have to differ by saying that NIN is far from metal
TR accepts he is or was closer to industrial and electronic music than metal tho the video is good

All TOOL videos. Carcass and Morbid Angel videos were good, Morbid Angel's Rapture was awesome. That's all I can think of.

I would never call NIN metal, except maybe Broken. That was pretty close. So then I can mention that all NIN videos kick ass, because they do.

I just downloaded that video from kazaa, its not bad from what I saw. Remember Osmose don't have as much money as Century Media or Nuclear Blast.

Yah, SYL's 'Detox' is a good and simple metal video. There is also a great example of the 'brutal-metal-guitar-player' -stance. That man would stand with the guitar on that stance through a nuclear war

Too bad I haven't seen other Devin Townsend's music videos. The songs would truly work well with videos.
