Metal Song Of The Year?

Its an old song off Sabaton's Metalizer album, but I like the Heroes version even more.

This is really tough, because there's been a lot of solid releases this year.
I could totally go chalk and pick a song from the new Falconer album (all-time favorite band), but I think it has to be this:

Power metal from Thailand. Absolute perfection.

EDIT: First post. Hi!

Wow. Cool stuff.

Wow! I am not a big fan of double-bass drumming (popular in speed metal), but these guys do so much more in this one song. And it looks like the entire album shows similar greatness ... confirmed in the sampler at their Youtube site. I even hear a little Matos in the singer.

Glenn, if its financially feasible, you need to bring these guys to the festival. They are right up there with Damnation Angel for breathing new life, and talent, into an old metal genre.

This is a hard one, it's been such a great year, but when I thought about it hard, I could only come up with one that I know is going to be a perpetual favorite for years and years. Predictable maybe, but this song absolutely kicks my ass from start to finish.

For runners up, I'll round out a top five with:

Within Temptation - Paradise (What About Us?)
Elvenking - Elvenlegions
Falconer - The Priory
Insomnium - The Promethean Song

Links aren't working, waaah! I picked up the album a few months ago off Amazon. May've grabbed the last copy at the time though ::shrug::

Probably the best cover art I've seen in a long, long time too. Most of the album is instrumental but the vocalist really shines here as well. These guys are absolutely phenomenal.

EDIT: Maybe not! It's seriously worth the $26 if you guys hate money like I do:
