Are these guys any good? I have been curious.

They're not bad. I don't quite know how else to describe them, the guitar riffs are pretty expressive and lyrical in their own way, and at times it sounds more rock-ish than metal. Don't expect blast beats or crunchy br00tal guitar.

bit derivative, but alright. I'd recommend Isis or Neurosis over them if you didn't mind some vox.

if you like Cynic-sounding metal, and don't mind other influences like some more fusion or world music stuff thrown in, you must get the first Gordian Knot album.
