Funny stuff. I hate all Metallica since Load, and I hate anything Zeppeling has ever done - IMO Zeppelin were the pioneers of cock rock.

I really like Led Zeppelin, but Robert Plant's overuse of the word "baby" in every single song does get annoying from time to time...

Simply put, no matter how ignorant I sound, anyone who doesn't appreciate Metallica's early work.....I have much trouble taking anymore musical opinions of theirs to heart. Early MEtallica was, is and will continue to be some of the greatest music ever, EVER recorded in my opinion, and anyone who thinks those records sucks just loses my respect for their musical taste. Ignorant, mabe, but those albms are just that damn important to me.

I agree with you Raumien on a personal note. But if people want to hate their early work I'm fine with that.

Metallica's first 4 albums are 4 of my all time favorite albums of any genre.

Indeed. Also, I really do like the Black Album. It lacks much attention being labelled the beginning of their downfall, but even so if it's just the beginning then there is still more good Metallica than lame shit on there, no? The beginning of a band turning bad means they are still mostly good, and the record has some very solid tracks. Quite a change from the complexity of some AJFA tracks.

I can listen to the black album sometimes. But its nowhere near the quality of the first 4 imo. I actually like the 2 ballads on that album more than the 'heavier' songs.

The one song I absolutely cant stand to hear though is Sandman.
