And I don't know why Load is considered shit, there are some mighty fucking songs on that album, King Nothing, Ain't My Bitch, Hero of the Day, Until It Sleeps, The House Jack Built, 2x4...those are off the top of my head, I do realize half of that album is pretty unlistenable though... Mama Said, classic country metal...![]()
You cannot be a musician...
Seriously, a band is allowed to play music that YOU do not like...
Because you are retarded.
Sorry dude, but fuck how can you not give any credit to this band? It's like saying Mozart is a retard or something...![]()
BTW, yes I triple posted, sorry.
BTW, I am not a fanboy.
BTW, fixed my triple post, because I'm not a retard.![]()
Did you read my post? They dropped the stuff they just made, because noone liked it. They say that they play what they want, but they don't. They play what sells. They made St. Anger because nu-metal was selling. They don't respect real music anymore and have no originality. NONE. I am not saying that every band must play music I like. I would respect them more if they played St. Anger, because they need to stand by the music they made. and yes, I am a musician, and no, you cannot read English.Imp! said:You cannot be a musician...

what are you, fucking twelve?Xeroth said:A lot of people see Metallica as a one song band - Enter Sandman - but what's everyone's thoughts on them?
ender7227 said:Personally I like St. Anger, but I lost a lot of respect for them when they never played a song off of it. It's like the redheaded bastard step-child of the Metallica albums.

The majority of bands, even older bands, play stuff off the newer albums more than the older. Metallica and apparently Judas Priest are not following this trend. My point is, if Metallica didn't give a fuck what the public wants, they would play the new shit, because that is what is newest and most fun to play. They would play old stuff, but new stuff would be there as well. Instead, they are simply trying to sell tickets and CD's. They are selling out.Imp! said:Dude, they are playing concerts, different shit. You make albums for art, and play shows to give the people the live experience. If nobody likes the new album, why play the new album? BTW, they've a shitload of albums to pick and choose from, if they only play 2 songs from St.Anger, well that's just the fucking luck of the draw. Judas Priest did a world tour and did not play a single song off of Defenders of the Faith, you know why? I sure the fuck don't, but they've a huge discography, and leaving out parts of it doesn't really hurt anyway, so it don't really matter...

Point made.Lars Ulrich said:Yeah we sell out. And we sell out every fucking night.
