Now they're touring together...damn.
And wtf? Linkin Park, damn. Metallica is sinking fast, if they're not already sunk. Shit. How bout a real tour, with Anthrax. Then Metallica would be forced to play fast and live up to the expectations of everyone there seeing Anthrax.

in my opinion metallica died when the black album came out. such a wreched piece of shit. i think their was like two good songs on it.

I heard they will do a medley with James, Fred, Britney(Spears) and Pauly Shore to close the show. It's a cover of Suicidal Tendencies - "Send Me Your Money".
I Can't wait to pay $300 to see Metallica play half-ass versions of 5 of their old songs and 15 pop radio hits!!!!!!!

Fuck. This news really saddens me. I pretty much gave up on Metallica years ago but I still had this little glimmer of hope that they'd eventually get their act togather but this is about as low as they can possibly get, and Bob Rock playing bass? Are you fucking kidding me?
So much for metal making a comeback. Metallica could have led the way this year with a huge package tour. Damn they fucked up.
