And Lars is a hasbeen.
And I do wish Jason had stayed in Flotsam as they are the better band ultimately.
But as far as Metallica, HE was the spirit of old Metallica during the 90's. All of the energy comes from Jason live, the others are jaded millionaires with musical instruments. James & Lars just wouldn't let him contribute any song ideas...
It's because of his taunting that they are trying to make a comeback... but they will never be as good as the Kill Em All-Justice era and VOIVOD is just going to blow them away!
Oh, for those interested, they purposely buried his bass tracks in the mix on Justice, as Lars used to always play to James rhythm guitar and not Cliff's bass.
What a pile of shit as I think his bass tone on Garage Days, the original five song ep, is awesome.
