Mexican electrical outlets

Thats pushing it, Mexico voltage is 127v where most American Devices are rated for 110-120 and really optimal at 115. Some devices may get ruined wherer some might handle it fine. Kind of a guess and check kind of scenario, wouldn't push my luck personally.

Electronics these days don't give a shit whether its 110 or 240v. If its something like a phone charger, laptop adapter, hairdryer, electric razor, etc... you don't have to worry even if you went to Europe, as long as you can physcially get the thing in the wall.

With amps, computers, bigger things like that, it's different, but smaller electronics where the voltage is being converted into DC via a brick or wall wart are never an issue.

Umm, ok, but I've still seen a shitload of busted smaller devices that got over twice the voltage they're made for.

That were made in the last 5 years? I've never seen a recent cell phone, camera, laptop, etc... charger be hurt through that.

I'm not talking bigger items - there are some that are still only one voltage or the other and will get very fucked up if plugged in wrong, but modern 'consumer electronics' are fine.

Why did they come up with exactly 127? Is there another country that has the same voltage?

Have noe clue where the 127 came from. No other country does it. Of course Mexican stuff will work fine here since theya re undervoltaged. Anything that has an OP amp or is deisnged based off a current from a voltage/resistance relationship, increasing the volotage will cause the device to take in more current than designed for and will fry. A wallwart is a large transformer and rectifier, its based off a ratio from the input to the output, so the whole brickwall think is a bunch of balogna.

Any voltlage semsitive devices will go out even being less than a volt off, even underpowerted, I would always make sure I have the right voltage unless you plan on replaceing your device.

As i said, you can bring all your electronic shit and it will work fine, without any damage, if you bring your amp it will work, i buyed all my amps and equipment in the Usa, i don´t even use a power conditioner and my stuff never get damaged, all works, Tv`s phone chargers, laptop chargers etc.

You can use taco sauce (hot) as a electrical conductor. The shell can be used as a surge protector. Some people prefer to scoop up one of the many rats running along the beach. (it's tail works great) ;)
