I just wanted to know waht the orgin of it is.It is a black shirt with the word "Vertigo" on it with a spiral logo on it. I was wondering if it was a band or something to that subject. If anyone knows or has any info on this feel free to respond. If you want to see a picture of what im talking about click this link ---> http://thepassenger0.tripod.com/opeth-page1.jpg

Well, my first assumption was the Hitchcock film Vertigo, but it doesn't look like it. If it is, I will stalk Mikael and get that shirt, because I neeeeeed it.

The Vertigo wording and symbol that Mikael is wearing is actually from the 1970s UK record label. It's the label that Black Sabbath started on basically (releasing their first four albums on it). It's also renowned for bands such as Uriah Heap, May Blitz, Cressida, Still Life (!), and Tudor Lodge. The original pressings with the 'swirl' logo are highly collectable. Check out this link: http://www.collectable-records.ru/labels/Vertigo/

Oh, btw, I actually have one of those shirts! I know Mikael got his from a record shop in Nottingham. I'm pretty sure this was called Select-A-Disc as I got mine in the London shop! And very nice it is too.....

thats a badass shirt indeed :)

but CoC's american volume dealer is slightly different, as seen here:

it has a black dot in the middle, and is tilted 45 degrees to the left

/end eccentric geekiness

I can always count on my fellow Opeth family to help me out in my times of complete stumpness!

What about the shirt Mendez is wearing in an interview in some magazine? He's wearing an Amsterdam Coffee Shop Tour shirt.

Did he really go to Amsterdam and try some of the best dankest herbs? If I were there, I know I would!
