Mike On Ayreon's "Trauma"

1:53 in is quite possible one of the most wicked sounding growls I've ever heard out of Mike or anyone for that matter. It sounds a little similar to how they enhance Mike's voice on Bloodbath, what with the layering of his voice and the extra effects tacked on.

Either way, very wicked and demonic sounding.

Ayreon is damn cheesy, that's true. But I think The Human equation was a good album with very cool songs although the way there's so fucking many singers does have some disadvantages too. THE worked pretty well though. The same can't be said for the new Ayreon album imo.

But yeah, Mike did amazing vocals everywhere on that album.

Ayreon is constantly growing on me. So far I only have THE but I'm going to try and get more by the end of the summer.

Yeah - one of my favorite performances on the album. I think he tracked his vocal parts 20 times, or something of the sort, for some his parts.
