I'm sure its been posted somewhere on the interweb, but I thought I could narrow down the search by asking again. Hopefully one of you folks know the answer, or maybe Mikael himself could chime in.

I've recently been listening to "Snow Goose" non stop. It's probably one of my favorite albums now and I'm glad I was able to be refered to them through Opeth. Once I get some more money, I promise I will check out some of the other bands Mike and others have been raving about.

Thanks + Cheers

how many albums do they have?

I apologize if im going off the Opeth topic here, but I would really like to know!

Thanks + Cheers

yeah that didnt help. I was talking to haver online and he was trying to help me but gave up. I can get them to AVI's but still down know how to make a tracker for torrents.

37? Wow, thats a lot! Hope I will get them all someday. Kick ass band!

can you just put it up to yousendit.com :erk:

^nope, i think it's too big... yousendit has a download limit, and not everyone would be able to get it before it's reached... the solution would be multiple ysi uploads - but i still prefer torrents

I realize I may not be as influential as Mikael ;), but my Top 3 Camel albums:

1. I Can See Your House from Here
2. Rain Dances
3. Breathless

:) Not the real Neil Peart, I presume ?

Song writer for living legends "Rush." :worship:

Nice sig btw :)

Adding Fuel to the Fire. :)

I would definitely recommend starting with the initial albums. My first was the debut, Camel, and I could only find it on LP.

Fittingly, it was not until I visited Sweden one summer that I could find the rest on CD. Good stuff man. Downtown Stockholm has not one but two (at least) specialty music shops dedicated to proggressive rock. It was like that scene in clerks where Randall walks into Big Top Video and falls on his knees. The clerk there was looking at me like, 'not from here, eh?'. He was cool.

Anyway I'd take it from here

1. Camel - raw (which is good), a little underproduced, but nonetheless essential
2. Mirage - one of their best; get it
3. Moonmadness - little more spacey, less gutsy, still good though
4. The Snow Goose - the ultimate instrumental concept album; get it too.

After this the direction and soul of the band really changes, some people dig it, some don't. but there's no disputing those 4.

I wish I had big humps of fat like a camel. They have lovely camel lumps. And yes, I hate that song.

there you go from the Lotfp interview

Mike: "Moon Madness is their peak, their magnum opus for me. That's the album before Raindances. Raindances is pretty much OK, but if you find Moon Madness you should pick it up."
