I'm not saying I'd deify an incomprehensibly superior intellect, but the whole "Universe as a simulation run by other beings" idea is fascinating. I don't buy into it in the least as there's no evidence for it, but its a cool thing to ponder in a science fiction kind of way. If something like that were happening, and all of the known universe amounts merely to the contents of some sort of cosmic petri dish, what would we call those in charge of the experiment?

Fuck I'm starting to speak metaphysical nonsense now...
