Mix test, green channel 5150II with tubescreamer. impulses

Hey guys

just finished my first mix of this song, was wondering what you thought of the overall mixing and the tone especialy

New tone ive been working on, think its a tad dark, couldnt be bothered retracking it though.

I increased alot of 2-5Khz on the EQ for the guitars after tracking. to make up for the darkness a little.

I think its a nice thick tone. I dont really hear where the bass fits in though.

The kick and snare sound a little overcompressed for my tastes.

I know im crap at mixing bass, its just a pitch shifted clean guitar too.

thanks for the comment on thick guitar sound though, i think i might work on this tone a bit more, since the green channel seems to be alot smoother than the red channel, specially with a tubescreamer in front of it.
