Some of you guys do some really incredible mixes, so I was hoping for some criticism/suggestions. A band that my band plays with fairly often really wanted to record a 4 song demo, but didn't have enough money for a studio. Being just blown away at how good they are for their age (they're all in High School and the lead guitarist is only 13) I offered to record them. I'm no pro by any means, but they're all really nice kids and I'd like to be able to hand them a cool sounding CD. If anyone could offer some suggestions that'd be awesome. I haven't replaced the toms yet as I'm still looking for the right samples, so all you're hearing is the trigger there

I was about to say, those toms are something else.
High school? Wow!
I'm 15, and my band could not sound anything like that.
But we're power metal.
