Mixing practice (full song, real drums)

"download limit exceeded"
could you upload it into different server? (such as dropbox ;) )
also, a reference mix would be nice :)

cheers.
The download works for me? Also, I'm pretty sure Megaupload only does that if you're downloading another thing from Megaupload at the same time.

But I do agree, a reference mix would be nice. I would post mine but it's gonna take a while to download + I can't mix for too long tonight.

Yeah you have exceeded your daily download limit, try it again dude.
Id have to split and re .rar the files for dropbox as it only accepts
uploads of around 300mb at a time, so id have to split this file into
3 parts.

Ill upload a rough mix tonight.

Really great song! Thanks a lot! By the way the download worked perfectly. @szymon trying to restart your router/internet connection might help.

The cab was miced with a 57 and a 421 so respectively you have 2 tracks of leads on the 57 mic and another 2 with the 421, same goes for the rhythm guitars

rhythm
5150 1 - 57
5150 2 - 42
(same take just 2 different mic placements)

mesa 1 - 57
mesa 2 - 421
(same take just 2 different mic placements)

so for each double tracked rhythm guitar you will have 4 wav files as above.

Thanks mate. It seems that I can't import audio files neither. :<

EDIT: Fixed. I can import guitar tracks almost instantly but drums and such take a long time and Logic doesn't respond. Patience is the cure.

The problem is, some files are named like "Blabla.L.wav". It confuses the system with the dot before L or R and thinks the extension is ".L.wav". I could import them all after removing unnecessary dots in the filename. It also imports with the .L.wav name but as stereo. Interesting.

oh shit. you are right. i here that pretty extrem through my headphones.o_O
actually the guitars are low-passed allready, but i will go over them again.
thanks for the first
