Here's my go at it. There's still plenty to work on, I'm not at all satisfied with the solo tone, and I haven't worked on any drums other than snare and bd yet. I also noticed I'm shit at using reverb but I'm learning as I go, all the time.

Anyway, someone said during the guitar tone contest, that my mix sounds painfully small and my tone is too middy. I tried to fix this, I wonder if it still is?

Also, I tried a kind of different approach on the intro, I'm still thinking of doing something fun with it. Thanks again for the files!

Mm, I got quite a dirty mix going. I gotta fix up all these cymbals first though.. PITA.. Plus I'm getting constant dropouts even tho I'm only at 50% CPU, and snare samples flamming.. overall a fuckload of editing shit to fix up before I post this. I LOVE the solo, so atmospheric.

Is there any chance you can upload the cymbals Ola? It'll just take forever figuring out whats what and changing the mapping to suit SSD. The drum mapping is all the same, if you (or someone else) could upload a .wav of just the cymbals that'd be awesome..

Ibanez stock V8 on the rhythms. String gauge 60-12(which is kind of thin in this Bb tuning, but I've got a couple of those sets left before buying thicker).
No DI box, just the instrument input on Apogee One. I use dunlop sharp 1.5 picks. I'm hitting pretty hard but not metal-only-down-strokes-hard. But I'm definetly NOT a strängsmekare

On 60's? I'm using a 72 from a bass guitar for B at the moment.
