I had a great time mixing this! I needed the practice and the song is just amazing.

With some Guitars it works great, with others I cant get it to sound good though haha

Yeah it´s truth. Legion sounds good but only with low tunings with other tunings it become too fizzy. At the first I tried to mix with legion but there was something too digital and also a weird response in the midrange, so I change the ampsim!lol But you achieve a good sound, the bass is complementing well the guitars.

There are some shitty things as the toms and some annoying high frequencies in the guitars. But I think that the essencial is here.

had to run them though a freq analyzer to see what makes yours so much better than mine, seems like they are just so much wider frequency wise.
Your bass gtr have content up to like 15khz, and your gtrs down to like 30hz.
Bah I guess I have to buy better gear

Thanks dude The snare it´s a blend of black beauty snare of avatar kit from superior 2 with other 2 snares samples, one is called B2 and the other is called Born snare. And none of post processing, not even a small eq. And the kick It´s the Nightwish kick and for the first time I didnt do any shit to the kick too. No post processing, no eq, no saturator. It fit in the mix like a glove!lol

Not sure if it has been mentioned already, but anyone listened to the drums mixdown Ola provided and noticed the few snare hits that sound flamed (flammed ?) where they should be regular snare hits ?

Cool mixes posted in this thread so far.

Also since i'm learning the whole MIDI in DAW/Superior 2 thing, i noticed there was hardly any velocity changes (for humanization purposes i mean, mainly for snare/kick, apart from the few fills here and there) in Ola's drums midi file... and still it sounds quite fine (almost natural) in the mix and even on it's own... i guess S2 round robin/multisamples at the same velocity/humanization features helps a lot.

Yeah, I noticed that too. The drums need a lot of work. The kick pumping is probly due to the master and the EQ I put on it to "fatten" it up.
