Arlovski vs Fedor - January 24 2K9

Fedor is flawless... but lets see. I'm gonna put my money on Fedor though.

this one'll be fedor FTW

hopefully after this dana white can stop being a bitch, and do what he needs to in order to get fedor into the UFC...

I really don't see Arlovski winning this. Fedor is just ridiculous.

What about Franklin vs. Henderson?? That should be a great fight.

I'm really, really anxious for GSP vs. Penn II. GSP is my favorite fighter, but Penn is a freak.

Im a big Arlovski fan and even I can say, without a doubt, there's no fucking way he does =anything= but get stomped.

He looked like SHIT against Sylvia, and he'll look just the same here... Andrei can only seem to win HIS sorts of fights anymore.

That, and there's really nobody out there for Fedor. Lesnar? I think he'll wait for him to lunge off balance and submit the freak.

Also, fuck the UFC. They're always dicking people around. I hope Afflicion becomes a viable rival. There always needs a pepsi to counter the cokes.... one brand unchecked will become bullshit over time.

yea, the UFC has always been the standard-bearer in the sport, but i really can't stand that douchebag dana white

i don't know if you heard about the whole deal with him kicking a bunch of fighters out of the organization over some video game related shit, but yea...that guy is a total asshole, and is going to end up fucking himself over just like he has so many fighters

The legend lives on... 1 punch -> KO.

I mean Fedor was letting Arlovski throw the punches but Fedor wasn't holding is hands up, just dodging with that loose arms position he does...

lucky punch or strategy?

Ok.

Fedor's style has always been like this. He throws lunging punches and like to keep his hands low to entice the opponent to strike. Fedor's counterpunching has always been to throw lobbing rights.

He saw the opening and went for it. It's not luck or strategy it's a combination of reading and adapting, with a little bit of luck haha.

He said going into the fight he had no strategy, and was going to play it by ear, and he can do this because he's such a well rounded fighter.

END.
